SHORT STORY TIME: @ Billy’s Bakery in New York, the worker there asked if I was a Cupcake Blogger after I asked her if I could take a few photos. I told her, “No, I am not but I could be if you wanted me to be.” I thought it was an odd question to ask me since she should have known right off the bat that I’m not your typical cupcake connoisseur. I ordered a Red Velvet Cupcake @ Billy’s… and it must have been one of the biggest mistakes to ask for at an all organic cupcake bakery. I was lectured by the same worker that Red Velvet cupcakes contained unnatural chemicals which turn the cupcakes into that red color. She instructed me that what I wanted was a Cream Cheese Frosted Cupcake and hurried me to the side. I did not take her comment personally because I just suspected that she was very passionate and proud of her own cupcakes. I do admit they were very tasty- but they’re CUPCAKES, how hard is it to mess those up?  Point of story: Never order a Red Velvet at an organic cupcake bakery.

Hmm… is this enough of a post to be a considered as a Cupcake Blog? Ha.
